UK-based Ghanaian artiste, Nana Richard Abiona, popularly known as Fuse ODG, says Africans need to embrace their roots than to shy away from who they truly are.

According to him, it’s important for Africans to impact into the new generation the need to be proud of their origin to prevent them from emulating western culture.

Through an Instagram post, Fuse has said Africa holds the key to the future.

The “Antenna” hitmaker said: “It’s so important for our young people to be proud about [sic] their roots and culture or else they’ll always grow up wanting to be someone else. We need more of us fighting for Africa coz the motherland is the future…” He explained to UK National TV Channel4.

Meanwhile, Fuse ODG urged his fans to look out for his next album.
