Former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged party delegates to vote out General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia if they want the party to win the 2020 general elections.
Bernard Allotey Jacobs said the NDC scribe popularly known as General Mosquito has ‘grown horns’ and does not respect anyone in the party including National Chairman, Kofi Portuphy.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Allotey Jacobs bemoaned how the General Secretary sees himself as a ‘repository of knowledge’ when it was the same delegates voted for him 12 years ago.
He cited how Asiedu Nketia during a meeting snatch microphone from the hands of National Chairman to the dismay of many to buttress his point.
The former Central Regional Chairman is convinced if General Mosquito is sprayed out of the party headquarters, victory for former President John Mahama is cool chop.
The outspoken politician charged delegates to vote for deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho who has the NDC at heart.
Allotey Jacobs has vowed to campaign for the deputy General Secretary because he has the organization ability to lead the NDC to victory in 2020.
