Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has bemoaned how criminal elements in society have often played politicians against each other.

He explained that often, people with criminal tendencies are mostly quick in aligning themselves with political parties and their members who come to their defence and make them go scot-free without paying for the crimes they commit.

The North Tongu MP’s comment follows the political football being played with the Menzgold issue between the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
