There are plans to avert flooding after Bagre Dam spillage

Government says it is putting in place plans to avert the perennial flooding caused by the spillage of the Bagre Dam.

President Akufo-Addo made this known while delivering the State of the Nation Address after two years in office.

According to him, the Ministry of Works and Housing will in the coming weeks receive a report on a feasibility study conducted by the Chinese company, SinoHydro for the construction of a dam at Pwalugu, to serve as a receptacle to hold the volume of water spilled from the Bagre Dam.
