Fans jam with Ponobiom at 3rd Hitz FM ‘Solo’

For the third time, entertainment powerhouse, Hitz FM, brought fans closer to their favourite artiste like never before.

After hosting M.anifest and Kwesi Arthur in previous editions, the Hitz FM Solo brought rapper Ponobiom on the train with his fans.

The well-patronised show at the Cockpit Lounge and Bar at Achimota Mall on Friday night created the perfect intimate environment for fans to interact with the rapper as he also entertains them with some of his hit tunes.

Leader of the ‘Uptown Energy’ team raised the curtains of the show with a unique freestyle about Hitz FM and its presenters.

Ponobiom went on to perform songs like ‘Tare Tare’ and also asked his fans to ‘smoke bad mind away’ with his ‘High Grade’ song.

He took the tempo a bit higher with the performance of ‘My Case’ featuring Stonebwoy and later switched to ‘Gbee Naabu’.

After doing the intro for ‘Gbee Naabu’, the rapper went silent and allowed his fans to sing the chorus of the song then signalled his DJ to move to the next track.

His performance continued with tunes like ‘Bibi Nti’, ‘Ghetto Youth’, then a delivery of his ‘Weytin Dey’ song which fans demanded an encore on.

Right after ‘Weytin Dey’, patrons were given the opportunity to ask Ponobiom numerous questions which he gladly answered.

The rapper resumed his performance after the question and answer session, beginning with his refix of Gyptian’s ‘Hold Yuh’.
