Parents are withdrawing their wards from the 31 day care, the only school in the Nyimage electoral area of the Bole district after due to its deplorable condition which authorities have refused to fix.

The school according to Adom News sources have not seen any renovation since its was built more than two decades now.

It was hit and battered by several heavy rainstorms but authorities of the assembly have refused to fix it after numerous appeals by the headmaster, assembly member and chairman’s of the school PTA.

The children are ask to go home anytime there is a sign of rainfall. Parts of the roof sheet is ripped off and the learning kids are exposed to the scorching sun.

Parents have therefore without options are withdrawing their children shombolic institution

A parent, Madam Ayisha Yussif told Adom News she was moving her child from the school because government has refused to renovate it.

“At first this was a very good school my two Kids pass through this school and went to Bolga Senior High school (Bosec) but now everybody is taking their children here because of the bad stage of the school, we’ll also take ours if the government refuse to renovate it ” she stated.

The PTA Chairman, Mr. Osman Abass also revealed that, a myriad of appeals to the DCE to rectify the problem have fallen on deaf ears.

“If it threaten to rain the will let the the kids to go home because the current problem the school facing and we send it to the DCE of the area but he doesn’t want to help so we are pleading to anyone who cares to come to our aid” he said.

The Assemblyman of the area Hon. Mohammed K Alhassan told Adom News that, if government fail to fix the problem, he would influence the voting of electorates in the area.

“I have sent this particular problem to the DCE several times but he doesn’t want to help but they should think that this an election year I’ll influence my people if the government fail to fix it” he added.

Meanwhile, efforts by Adom News  to get the DCE of the area Hon. James  Jagah to react to it proved futile.
