The suspect, who is in police custody, was apprehended by two young men in the Bantama-Yeji community before she was handed over to police for onward transfer to the Suame police, ASP Godwin Ahianyo told DAILY GUIDE.

He said Patient, a neighbour of Abena Kubura (mother of the victim) at the lorry station, escaped with the baby boy when she took the toddler to enable the mother to go and wash the baby’s clothing.
