The “One Corner” song maker, Patapaa Amisty has rubbished reports circulating on social media that he has a girlfriend named “Pata Pichy”.
According to the musician, it is some bloggers who are writing such false news with the aim of directing traffic to their websites.
Some pictures went viral on social media where Patapaa was seen taking selfies with a lovely lady. Comments by some users suggested that the lady they claimed was known as Pata Pichy was Patapaa’s girlfriend.

But in an interview with Delay on “The Delay Show”, Patapaa debunked the rumour, indicating that the woman in the picture is a fellow musician in Liberia.
Amisty told Delay that he took the picture with the lady during President George Weah’s inauguration in Liberia, whiles they were shooting a video for her song so he doesn’t know the roots of the “Pata Pichy” story.
“She wanted to record a song with me. So we did and shot the video. I don’t have a girlfriend but after shows if anything happens I am good with it…”, he said.
