Parliament has condemned the killing of Saudi Journalist, Jamal Kashoggi by some unknown assailants at the Saudi Embassy in Turkey.

Minority leader, Haruna Idrissu first raised the issue when he made a statement on the floor describing the incident as an upfront to freedom of expression and independence of the media which the Ghanaian media must take interest in.

He called on the August House to be loud in condemning the incident and to call for a no cover-up by the west, particularly America.

Haruna Idrissu also reiterated calls for the shadows behind to be brought to book.

On her part, Deputy Majority leader, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo says several questions about his death are still begging answers.

She also called for a thorough investigation which will bring the perpetrators to book.
