Former Chairman of the Division One League, Kwame Ntow Fianko has turned down a call from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to come and assist in the writing of the Association’s rules and regulations.

The astute legal practitioner stated on Asempa FM that, he is not a kid to be called just like that on a phone to come and do such a job.

According to him, he has not seen a tournament that has not been launched but its regulations have been made; so he will not waste his time going to the FA because he has something better doing and not like those hawkers at the FA.

“I was called by Sena [personnel from the GFA] and he was like Mr. Ntow, they say you should come for a swearing-in and write regulations for the domestic league. I told him I have something better to do so I will not come there.”

“I haven’t seen a tournament that has not been launched but its regulations have been made. I don’t know who ordered him to call me and I don’t know what I am going to do there; I’m over 60 years, I’m not a kid to be called on telephone to come. I am not like those just walking at the FA, jobless. I am working, so going there will be a waste of time.” He said.

The regulations to be written are to guide the upcoming normalization committee’s special competition which involves Sixty four premier and division one clubs.
