A man believed to be in his 30s has committed suicide around Achimota Over pass in Accra.
Adom News’ Kofi Adomah Nwawani who was at the scene reported on Adom FM’s ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Morning Show Thursday that the deceased was spotted hanging on a rope fasten to a tree on Thursday morning.
It is unclear what might have caused the man to take his own life.
“We were just in the house when we heard that a man has committed suicide by hanging and so we rushed to the scene only to find the man hanging with a rope tied to his neck” one resident told Kofi.
According to them, they cannot state emphatically whether it is suicide because the man was spotted kneeling though hanging on the tree.
The police visited the scene and took away the body of the deceased.
