The New Patriotic Party Chairman for New Juabeng North Constituency, Nana Boateng Agyemang, has asked that the state makes Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo’s leaked tape issue a test case for dealing with all cases impunity.
According to Mr Nana Agyemang, treating the National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairman’s conduct with kid’s gloves will amount to losing the opportunity to deal with similar conducts in the future.
Mr Agyemang who was the first person to call on the Church of Pentecost where Mr Ampofo is an elder to discipline him has also called on him to resign as the chairman of his party.
The New Juabeng North Constituency chairman used the recent shooting and killing at the regional office of the NDC as an example of how impunity is gradually creeping into the political culture of Ghana.
He noted that while the hoodlums have taken the life of a citizen, they may probably be cooling off somewhere in the country just because their crime is being viewed as a politically tainted one.

On whether the issue of secrete recordings should not be discouraged, Mr Boateng said as long as the recording is meant to expose an evil plan he is for it.
