Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is certain she will live beyond 100.

After receiving the ‘Ayekoo’ Award at the recently held Glitz Women of the Year Honours held at Labadi Beach Hotel on April 13, 2018 in Accra, the 70-year-old woman said: “I love to stay young. I told my husband that I am not living less than 120 years.”

Mrs Rawlings (born November 17, 1948) was the First Lady of Ghana from 4 June 1979 to 24 September 1979 and 31 December 1981 to 7 January 2001, both under President Jerry John Rawlings.

She schooled at Achimota School, where she met her future husband.

Mrs Rawlings got married to her longtime sweetheart, Mr Rawlings in 1977 and they have four children together.
