Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has condemned the attacks on the Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, known in political circles as Abronye DC.
The NPP firebrand said the attack on the vociferous communicator of the party was unwarranted.
“The guy stands for the truth…the attack on Abronye DC is wrong whether it came from NDC or NPP…,” he said.

Abronye DC was attacked by some unknown persons on Saturday, January 13, when he was leaving the residence of the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atebubu-Amantin having met with some party members on his national executive campaign bid.
He was on admission at the Duayaw Nkwanta Catholic Hospital after he suffered a fracture and shoulder dislocation from the beatings he received.
His car was also destroyed in the process by the thugs believed to be supporters of the NPP.

They are reported to have carried out the attack in protests over constant calls by Abronye DC for the President to sack the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Kwaku Asoma-Cheremeh, an allegation the Regional Minister has since denied.
Reacting to the attack on Adom TV’s Badwam on Tuesday, Kennedy Agyapong said the vociferous communicator stands for the truth and hence he has his full support.
