The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has mounted a spirited defence for female dancehall artiste, Ebony.
The sexy artiste has come under intense criticism for exposing her private parts in her music videos and during stage performances.
Some of her critics have labelled her as a ‘shame to womanhood’ for showing her ‘fleshy’ parts to the public.
These criticisms, Prophet Badu Kobi speaking on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness, said are not necessary as according to him, the musician ought not to be ostracized.
According to the man of God, Ebony deserves love now more than ever.
Insults and condemnation, the man of God says is the wrong remedy to causing the sexy dancehall act to change her ways.
“Our thoughts don’t make us pure. We shouldn’t use sin to demean ourselves. If I see Ebony today, I will let her come to me. They need to come to us pastors so we talk with them with love. That is how we change people but we are using sin to sack them away claiming she’s always naked among others…” Prophet Badu Kobi stressed.
He continued that, “…maybe, in her area that is what she attracts people with. If she’s shown the right way to understand is better. But we condemn them, why do you do that?” He queried.
Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi further urged critics making unfair judgments to rather pray for Ebony than condemn her acts.
“She might even change her way of dressing. But to condemn, we don’t have to do that. We have to pray for such people. We as humans don’t have the power so prayer is the Key…” He said.
