Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako is elated about the seeming implosion in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He is predicting the blame game among the rank and file about what caused their humiliating defeat in the December 7, 2016, general elections will be worse.

Following their defeat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in last year’s polls, the leadership have been accused of pocketing monies meant for the campaign.

Even though the party has set up a committee led by Dr. Kwesi Botwey to investigate what led to their defeat, members and some past national executives have are using the media to vent their spleen.

Majority of them are also calling for a total overhaul of NDC’s executives to enable them restructure to recapture power in the 2020 general elections.

But Kweku Baako on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show Wednesday believes the situation could escalate.

‘I’m happy the NDC lost, this is not even serious; it has to be more serious’ he scoffed.

The veteran journalist said he is praying the opposition NDC remains in the tight corner till election 2020.
