A former Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kojo Yankah, has angrily lashed out at the Government over their current Black Stars Management Committee appointment.
Mr Yankah asserts that the committee as has been set up is a panacea for the destruction of the Black Stars as he feels the appointment was done with political consideration.
According to him, of the five members on the committee, only Ibrahim Sunday is competent enough to do the job.
“Everything is wrong about it (the Black Stars Management Committee). I don’t know who advised the government to do this. This is the biggest mistake Ghana has done. You appoint a deputy minister to become a management member of a national team? Jesus Christ! What a shameful act,” he fumed.
Dr Desmond Kofi Koduah Sarpong heads the newly-constituted management team with Deputy Sports Minister, Perry Okudzeto as his deputy.
Other members of the five-member committee include, former Ghanaian footballer, Ibrahim Sunday, Mr Francis Asenso-Boakye and Madam Abena Osei Asare.
