Newly appointed head coach of Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack has cautioned his players to give him more than 100 percent performance on the field of play.

The Porcupine Warriors have failed to impress their supporters in the ongoing premier league.

The Reds have failed to win a match after nine played after the exit of Zdravko Lugarusic. The management of the club asked Frimpong Manso and Godwin Ablordey to take over the club until the end of the first round of the season with the believe that they will change things for the club but the woes of the club kept on increasing.

After 14 matches played in the premier league, Kotoko has won 5, drawn 5 and have lost 4 matches leaving them at the 8th position with 20 on the league log.

However, the former Berekum Chelsea manager has called on the players to give him more he expect on the field.

“I know some players I have worked with who are currently playing for Kotoko and they know how I work.” He told Asempa FM.

“I don’t care if you are Ronaldo, Messi or whoever, if you are not prepared to work for the team then you will get into the team.

“I want players that will give me hundred and ten percent on the field of play. If they can’t give me that, they still have to do it because a team is how the coach is like.

“I am committed and I have the passion for the game. I always have a good attitude and I impact that into the players with a winning mentality as well.” He added.

Kotoko will play Tema Youth in the match day 15 fixture at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.
