Four people have reportedly sustained serious injuries following a gas explosion at Krofrom, a suburb in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi Tuesday.
According to reports, several cars in and around the Trinity gas filling station were also burnt to ashes.

Angel FM reporter, Owusu Banahene who was at the scene said people suspect a leakage on one of the cylinders containing the gas caused the explosion.
Aside from the casualties, he said properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis were also lost.

Owusu Banahene added that it took firefighters several hours to douse the fire.
Meanwhile, those who sustained injuries have been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
