Charter House, organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), has released nominees for this year’s event.
The VGMAs is arguably the biggest award scheme in Ghana that recognizes and rewards the hard work of artistes in the country.
This year is the 19th edition of the awards and it’s slated to come off on Saturday, April 14 at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
This will be preceded by a nominee jam in Cape Coast on Saturday March 24. There will also be an after-event celebration jam at Tema, on Saturday, April 28.
The hourly unveiling of nominees on Media General platforms Saturday March 3, saw both young and old artistes grab nominations in various categories.
Shatta Wale, who has been away from the VGMAs for a while due to a standoff with the organizers returns, grabbing a couple of nominations so far.
