The former general manager of Asante Kotoko S/C, Samuel Opoku Nti, has given C.K Akunnor thumbs up for how far he has brought the team.
He has scored the coach 80% so far in the CAF Confederations Cup Journey.
The former player who was speaking in an interview with Asempa FM said the technical know-how of C.K Akunnor is a true reflection of their performance so far.
According to him, there is currently, no football in Ghana and for the coach to assemble players in this short time to play the way they have means he is a good coach.
“I will give C.K Akunnor 80%; he is doing well. If you take a critical look at the team and the fact that
“God is with Kotoko but we need someone with a technical brain to push the boys to this level,” he added.
CK Akonnor’s outfit missed an opportunity to grab a place in the quarter-finals on Sunday after sharing the spoils with Al-Hilal in Kumasi.
