Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Afriyie, has promised to help Kotoko in their final CAF Confederation Cup group game against ZESCO united on Sunday.

According to the bankroller of Okyeman Planners, the battle Kotoko is fighting in Africa has now shifted to a national project where all hands must be on deck.

“There is no football in Ghana so, in order to raise the flag of Ghana high, we must all support Kotoko; it should be a Ghana project,” he told Asempa Sports.

I will be leaving for Zambia to prepare the grounds for Kotoko; I have started mobilizing support for them,” he stressed.

“I have done so many things in the past for clubs;
I’m not like those who film, even if they give out one cedi,” he added.

Mr Afriyie has already announced his intentions to contest for the vacant GFA Presidential seat.
