The National Chairman of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has disclosed the NDC’s parliamentary candidate aspirant, Delali Brempong is now living in fear following the shooting incident in the on-going by-elections in the Ayawaso West-Wuogon Constituency.

Addressing the press at the party’s headquarters in Accra after a decision to withdraw from the elections, Mr Ofosu Ampofo stated that, the condition he saw the candidate in was not pleasant.

“I saw a traumatized candidate who is now leaving in fear and can’t even come out to vote. Delali told me he doesn’t want people to lose their lives because of this by-election and has now lost interest to even go out and vote.”

Mr Delali Brempong’s residence was reportedly held hostage after scores of masked men invaded his residence when he was having breakfast with some party members.
