Former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Lepowura M.N.D Jawula, has urged Black Stars coach Avram Grant to recall midfielders Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng back into the Senior National team.

Muntari and Boateng were suspended indefinitely from the national team after the duo misconducted themselves in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup.

Muntari who is currently clubless after his contact run out at Al Ittihad, wrote an apology letter to the GFA seeking forgiveness.

According to Lepowura Jawula, the recent performance of the Black Stars against Uganda in Tamale calls for the inclusion of the two talented players.

“Based on our performance in Tamale with Uganda, there is the need for a lot of concern about the quality of players at our disposal”, M.N.D Jawula told Starr FM.

” I think the time has come for  us to recall Muntari and Kevin Boateng because whatever has happened is in the past and we should forgive them and look ahead”, Lepowura concluded.
