The Black Satellites of Ghana have departed the country for Togo for the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) U-20 championship.

The U20 players and the technical team left Accra for neighbouring Togo on Tuesday evening for the competition which begins on Thursday.

The team is dominated by locally based players with Michael Baaidoo of FC Midjtyland in Denmark the only foreign-based player in camp.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah’s side has been drawn in group B of the competition with Nigeria, Niger and Benin.

The tournament begins on 6th of December and will end on 16th of the same month.
