Manager of late highlife musician Anokye Supremo, Isaac Kobina Zakk, has brought to light Anokye Supremo’s last words before he died in India, following a surgery.

According to him, Anokye prompted him to record his last song, moments before he was carried to the theatre for surgery.

In an interview on Kofi TV, Zakk played the recording to Ghanaians and part of the lyrics in the song were:

Take your country Ghana, a country that does not offer support or happiness, I am going to look for a better place to stay…”

Zakk added that he queried Anokye about why he had him record such a song and Anokye replied that he wasn’t sure of making it out of the surgery.
