Controversial musician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has been christened a “wizard” for allegedly haunting the Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority, Kwame Owusu.
This was after he blew the whistle on the ‘rot’ going on at the state institution.

On 0ctober 25, 2018, news broke of the Maritime authority boss spending GHC1.3 billion in one night on food bought from his own hotel for an end of year party.
Documents on the said event which hosted seven sparked a conflict-of-interest debate that sent social media users crazy over misuse of public funds for such an insignificant event.

A Plus was said to have leaked the document on social media just to court bad press for the Maritime Authority boss and government – an allegation he has vehemently denied.
On Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Tuesday, First Vice-chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central region, Ekow Ewusi, said the claim by A Plus was borne out of malice.
He claimed the musician was out to destroy the GMA boss after his “blackmail” on him failed, forcing him to turn to plan B which is using social media to destroy him [Owusu].

“If you are not evil, why will you do this? A Plus is a liar and a wizard,” he fumed.
