Asante Kotoko as part of preparations for the 2019 CAF Confederations Cup beat Tema based side Inter Allies 3-0 in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

In a game dominated by the 2017 MTN FA Cup winners, defender Amos Frimpong opened the scoring from the spot after Inter Allies defender Desmond Abugah handled the ball in the box.

Substitute Naby Laye Keita doubled the lead with Former WAFA Captain Martin Antwi added the third to win the day for the Porcupine Warriors.

Head coach C. K Akonnor and his charges will play Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks in the CAF Confederation Cup 1/16th stage after a walkover in their first game.

Asante Kotoko will, however, lock horns with the national U-23 team, the Black Meteors on Sunday in another friendly encounter.
