Former head coach of Ashanti Gold football club, C.K Akunnor says he has gained enough experience for the premier league season.
This was after he returned after taking a three weeks training course in Scotland to understudy Brenden Rogers of Celtic football club.
Originally with Dreams FC in the lower division, coach Akunnor in the second round of the season accepted an offer from his childhood club, Ashgold FC to be at helm of affairs and subsequently saved them from relegation.
This experience, the young coach recounts as very insightful and eye opening since he wants to be counted as one of the best the nation can boast of in his generation.
“I have learnt a lot of things which is very important to my development as a coach. I believe a lot in the practicality of the game and that gives me a fair idea of how to create my own philosophy”, Akunnor told Asempa Fm.
The former black stars skipper hopes to put his vast acquired knowledge to use next season and also hopes for better and fair officiating.
He also called on club administrators and management to give Ghanaian coaches all the maximum support.
