Chairman of the Coalition, Bernard Mornah said the purpose of the demonstration is to demand the immediate resignation of the IGP, David Asante Apietu and the Minister of State in charge of National Security, Mr. Bryan Acheampong.

But speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, John Boadu said he is not surprised at the conduct of the opposition.

He however, questioned where the protestors were when members of the NPP were brutalized in Akwatia, Chereponi and Talensi by-elections.

“When Azorka boys were killing and maiming our members, did they demonstrate? As for Bernard Mornah I’m not surprised. In Talensi when his candidate was part, he is not protest. Bunch of hypocrites” the NPP man fumed.

John Boadu urged Ghanaians to ignore the naysayers whose only aim is to paint a gloomy picture of the country.

“We must not kowtow to some of these people whose main agenda is to unleash violence on people”.
