Rich or poor are men supposed to marry,if yes then why these advice.Granted if your advice of every girl of age is to marry a rich dude are they all going to get married.It means not all of them would get married because there’s always going to be the rich and the poor.All the fingers are not equal,some get rich early whilst others later in life so per his advice our women should wait till they see them rich before they can decide to marry them.The high rate of divorce in our society is as a result of this kind of doctrine been preached to them.Some people start slowly but ends up big time so my advice to the man of God is rather he should tell our women to look well into the what the man is doing now and to ascertain herself how well it will end for them in the future cos it can be rosy today and tomorrow it will be otherwise.I’d rather if he had told them to look for a God fearing and a hard working man with a purpose, with that they can be assured of a brighter future.Marriage is coming together for good,all things being equal.The man been the head and woman been the helper,they both take decisions but the man taking full responsibility for whatever pans out,been good or bad.I don’t know though but I don’t think he was this rich when he first married his beautiful wife.Come to think of it some marry rich but ends up poor, what about that too? Here is his advice going to be leave your husbands cos they are poor.If he finds himself in a comfortable situation today he should know that he’s gone through a lot to get where he is today and those poor people he asking the women away from are also going through the same hassle to reach the top and soon they also be self made men who will be paying big tithes,first fruit,big thanks giving offerings to him.What I know is with a twiddle of the thumb the rich and famous can become poor and the poor and nameless can become rich.Rome was not built in a day it started somewhere the results is what we seeing today.To our lazy girls who will only be willing to be attached to the rich,his advice may be the ish but for me it’s also better to work your way up together.Adam was not rich when God made him Eve.

In reply to wilson. Wilson can u point biblically how a man s de sole provider? We become one after marrying, de wife being a helper, supports to raise money for de house n then we both decide on how to run de hse. This s what marriage is about, its about two people becoming one. Headship means de man is responsible for any outcome just like de way ur manager is responsible for de outcome of de office even though u all worked there.

Interestingly, he is not de only so called man of God who makes this point. However, what does the says? They preach their thoughts n expects us to adopt as scripture. Does headship means provider. When de bible spoke about marriage it referred to oneness thus common ownership in which de man is de head over that institution. De woman is meant to submissively be a helper n the man is meant to treat the wife with love (self sacrifice). He shd read his bible well n stop preaching those nonsense his type r de main reason for de rise in divorce. Why should he be an agent of de devil when de he claims to be a man of God?

Marriage is a partnership. Women can also contribute to the finances of the family instead of putting all the pressure on the man to feed the woman. You don’t marry because of money because there will always be someone with more money than you. So are you saying if your woman leaves you for another man with more money you should be satisfied with it? What kind of stupid advice is that.

It is wrong to say a woman should not marry poor man, all hands are not equal and God can use a woman to bring a man up. We had prophets that were able to command fire to come from heaven, but now we have prophets that cannot command fire from heaven are they not same prophets, so why some can command fire but others cannot? We are all men but some are rich and some are poor but the future is how you synchronize your thinking with your actions which will give you a result of ‘no condition is permanent’. Every conditions is dynamic that is why we say it is not permanent. Marriage is about love but we marry because of what we see that is the result of divorce.
