This year’s event was the choral edition which was held on Sunday, October 29,2023.

Harmonious Chorale started the event with lively songs before the Multimedia Choir, Royal House Chapel, Choir Destiny Choir, CT Praise, Perez Chapel Choir, Team Eternity, Bethel Revival Choir, The New Song, Voices of Triumph, among groups stormed the stage with worship and praises.

Piesie Esther also gave the audience a surprising performance with her new song ‘Mo’ and other hits songs.

Joe Mettle charged the auditorium with his worship and his praises.

Patrons who trooped to the Perez Dome enjoyed the event and left as blessed people.

The ‘Bo noo ni’ hitmaker did what he does best, an excellent performance.

Together with the Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God choir, they served patrons with excellent tunes and left many with unforgettable memories.

The jam-packed night saw performances from several choirs, like Harmonious Chorale, Bethel Revival Choir, Odorkor PIWC’s New Song, Team Eternity, Voice of Triumph, among others.

The 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Artiste of the Year crowned the highly-anticipated choirs’ edition in a spectacular way.

He thrilled patrons to his popular tunes like Bo noo ni, Kadosh, My Everything, Ye som Nyame, and many others.

This year’s event dubbed: ‘Choirs Edition’ lived up to expectation.

The exceptional musical gala brought together 10 remarkable choirs from various churches and independent groups that are deeply rooted in the essence of gospel music.

This year’s concert also witnessed performances from veteran gospel musicians like Joe Mettle, Piesie Esther, Kofi Peprah, Pastor Dadson who led their respective church choirs.

They together with the choirs led patrons through soulful spiritual performances.

The event saw hundreds of patrons join the gospel stars to praise and worship God.

The event was hosted by Rev Kwamena Idan, host of Adom FM’s Live worship who electrified the venue with words of exhortation.

The night at the Perez Chapel International was meant to be a choir’s edition of the annual musical concert.

However, the team showcased innovation and creativity with a combo performance.

The team gave patrons a swift stage play alongside melodious gospel music.

This was the first time such a display came to life at the Perez Chapel, where the concert is held each year.

The audience who were fascinated by the performance expressed their excitement through loud screams and cheers.

The auditorium of Perez Chapel was lit with Pentecost fire, with patrons dancing their hearts out.

After the exciting performance by New Song, Piesie Esther joined with her hits songs ‘Waye me yie’ and ‘Mo’.

Patrons jumped, danced, and sang in one powerfully amazing performance from the Pentecost woman.

Piesie Esther moved many hearts and touched many souls, all in praise of God.

There was never a dull moment.

The gospel musician turned the congregation into her choir and they sang to the glory of God.

Her dance moves are just impressive. A master performance, that was.

Contemporary gospel music group, Bethel Revival Choir once again thrilled patrons at this year’s Adom Praiz with a captivating performance.

The auditorium of the Perez Dome Chapel was charged.

From the dancing and moment of worship, Bethel Revival Choir just knew when and how to introduce each song to keep patrons in high spirit.

They electrified patrons with their melodious Ewe songs without leaving out the popular ‘Vovome’ praise medley, which the audience couldn’t get enough of.

It was indeed a night to remember.

Their ministration was evidence that, they are a dynamic gospel music group of young men and women who are passionate about what they do.

They took the audience down memory lane as they performed medleys of several praise and worship tunes.

Additionally, Team Eternity displayed their vibrancy and energy as they took the patrons through a Jama session with popular Nyame Adwuma song.

They proved to the audience they were up to the task and indeed were worthy of a slot at the Choirs edition of the annual gospel concert.

Held at the Perez Dome in Dzorwulu, the choristers, through their performances, convinced patrons they were the landlords.

They, among other songs, performed the popular gospel tune Days of Elijah and owned it with its rhythms and style.

There were loud screams and cheers as he graced the stage, which was already electrified by the CT Praise Choir of ICGC Christ Temple.

Pastor Dadson took off from where the choir left off with a thrilling performance that moved patrons from their seats.

He began with a local worship medley and gradually raised the tempo with his popular hit songs.

The choir gave gospel music fans a unique opportunity to praise and worship God.

They performed their own rendition of various local and English songs to the amusement of patrons when they mounted the stage.

The 2023 festival was Choirs’ edition, but their ministration broke away from the usual solemn tunes choristers are known for.

She performed hit songs ‘Yehowa ne M’aban Kese‘, ‘Wa Hye Me Bo‘ and other local gospel hits.

The talented singer ministered alongside Destiny Songs of the Maker’s House Chapel.

Together with one accord they moved the crowd with an uplifting worship session.

The Maker’s House chapel choir came with their A game and thrilled fans with worship songs and popular hymns.

Their heart touching and powerful ministration lifted spirits in the church auditorium.

Beginning with some local and foreign medleys, the group gradually raised the tempo.

Despite it being the choirs’ edition, Kofi Peprah charged the crowd with a medley of his songs, and the anointing and prophetic magnetism could be felt in the auditorium.

He ministered alongside the Multimedia choir.

His song, Big God, which is the favourite of many, worked magic and attracted energetic dance moves from patrons.

Patrons were indeed thrilled and had a joyous time in the presence of God.

The host choir had patrons dancing from the beginning of their performance until the very end.

Clad in its custom suit cloth, the choir lightened up the spirits of patrons with soul-captivating songs.

The energetic group ministered medleys of songs including ‘Adom‘ by 2021 VGMA Artiste of the Year, Diana Hamilton, Nacee’s uplifting ‘Aseda‘ and other crowd favourites.

The instrumentalists did not disappoint as they displayed their God-given talents to the glory of God.

This year, 10 remarkable choir bands from various churches and independent groups deeply rooted in the spirit of gospel music, will converge to entertain and uplift the spirits of patrons.

Joshua Tigo, the Programmes Manager of Adom FM, shared the exciting news during the launch event held at Café Bar Noir in Dzworwulu.

Mr Tigo ignited the anticipation for this year’s Adom Praiz, expressing, “The event which has become a global brand will be more booming than the previous years.”

Over the years, Adom Praiz has drawn countless music enthusiasts and followers of gospel music.

“In a bid to deepen the connection to our spiritual roots, this year’s Adom Praiz will take place on a Sunday, allowing us to extend the divine embrace of the church experience,” Mr Tigo said.

“We are breaking new ground by commencing the show precisely at 4 pm. It’s a commitment to punctuality and a promise to make every moment count,” Mr Tigo added.

This year, the focus is on bringing the community together. Tigo emphasized, “Churches should come and support their own. Every church has their choir, and every music lover will have a choir to love. It’s not a commercial venture. It’s something we want to give to God.”

The Adom Brands General Manager, Abdulai Awudu, officially launched the event and encouraged patrons to not only have fun but also glorify God’s name.

Several choir leaders and members, devoted Adom Praiz patrons, and prominent figures from the media industry graced the occasion, lending their presence to give the green light for the much-anticipated main event.
