Veteran actor Adjetey Anang, through his One-In-A-Million Foundation, has donated medical equipment and supplies to the Paediatric Surgery Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to support healthcare delivery for children.
The donation forms part of the foundation’s efforts to improve healthcare outcomes for women and children across Ghana by equipping hospitals with essential medical supplies and resources needed to enhance patient care.

Items presented included a Sigma air conditioner, a Sigma water dispenser, three infusion pumps, two central line kits, two boxes of examination gloves, four packs of IV dressings, and ten 17-litre water dispenser bottles.
The items were presented by Adjetey Anang, his wife, Elorm Anang, and members of the One-In-A-Million Foundation team, with support from Platinum Impex and Sigma Electronics.
Receiving the donation, Dr. Glover Addy, Head of the Paediatric Surgery Unit, expressed appreciation to the foundation, describing the gesture as more than just a donation of medical equipment.
He noted that the supplies would bring hope to children and families who rely on the facility for specialised healthcare services.

He noted that the infusion pumps, central lines and other medical supplies would directly contribute to improving treatment outcomes and assured the donors that the equipment would be put to good use.
The items were formally received by Deputy Chief Nursing Officer Joyce Bright Baidoo in the presence of Head of Surgery, Dr. Patrick Bankah, and other members of staff.
Dr. Bankah also commended the foundation for its intervention, stating that the equipment would help bridge critical gaps in healthcare delivery while enhancing surgical and paediatric care at the hospital.
The One-In-A-Million Foundation operates a healthcare support initiative that allows individuals to contribute as little as GH¢1 daily through partnerships with IT Consortium and Chango. The pooled contributions are used to provide hospitals with life-saving equipment and medical supplies.
Hospital management expressed appreciation to the foundation and encouraged continued collaboration to support both patients and healthcare workers in the future.
