Father of late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, is appealing to prophets to stop associating his daughter’s death to voodoo.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng said the superstition about what caused Ebony’s death is so “irritating”.
He is convinced the ‘Maame Hwe’ hit maker born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng has accomplished her mission on earth and has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
Ebony Reigns, died in a gruesome road accident that occurred late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

Some prophets are claiming credit for predicting the sudden demise of the popular dancehall artiste.
In an exclusive interview on KOFI TV, the father appealed to everyone to stop reading meanings into Ebony’s death.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng maintained that, his Ebony was not “immortal” thus would have died no matter what.
“Ohemaa [Ebony] is a national and international asset but her mission is accomplished. At her age the whole world knew her so she had to go back and rest” he opined.
“Ghanaians talk too much because they are hypocrites but Ohemaa is ok. Her dressing and everything was on point and I’m proud to be associated with her” Nana Opoku Kwarteng stressed.
Ebony was on board a Jeep with registration AS 497-16, travelling from Sunyani to Kumasi when her vehicle collided with a VIP bus heading in the opposite direction, leading to her untimely death.
She died with two other persons, a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and lady identified only as Frankie.

  1. A very Good morning to you Adom online. I’m Sina Mohammed and a Muslim by religion.
I am very worried about some lies and the fake prophecies some so called pastors are prophesying in Ghana, more especially the death prophecy in the entertainment industry. All are lies and those pastors are evils who deals with the jinns. The jinns are creatures by our heavenly father, God. They are the descendants of Satan( iblis) as we humans are the descendants of Adam, may the peace and blessing of Almighty God be upon him. The jinns were created with fire as we humans were created with sand.
Any pastors who prophecies death in Ghana is not a man of God the all Almighty, but an agent to the evil jinns. They disguised themselves as pastors but they are evils.
The Devil has on power and control over any person’s soul. But the devil have influence in our lives as Satan promised God that he will lead we humans astray and God assured him that, he can, but not those whom God has guided. For those guided, Satan can never lead to astray’ but the weak amongst us whom Satan will lead astray , He God, is the the most merciful. He will continue to forgive us when we ask for his forgiveness. It’s only God who causes death. No evil, no juju man or whatsoever you call can take the life of person. The soul is taken by God alone, and he is the most powerful.
I’m pleading with you and your managements if you will give me a space to voice out the truth to the Good people of Ghana, more especially, my non Muslims brothers and sisters.
I’m counting on your countless favour.
    Thank you.

  2. Nice submission sir, but I’m sorry to tell you that you said only what you knew and believed. You believe in the Quran, so you probably made your presentation from that direction.
In the Bible, there are countless stories of prophets who warned men that if they do not repent from the sins, they would die, and it happened. So why do you tell us that “any pastor who prophecies death in Ghana is not a man of God..”
Please what do you have to say about the numerous mallams we know in the country who are practising divination and doing all weird things ?
