The Ghana Airports Company Limited has allegedly awarded a contract to a non-existent security company.
A copy of the contract document with reference number GR/GACL/0007/2017 signed on December 22, 2017 which is in possession of this portal, shows that Zein Security Services Limited was required to provide certain technical services to the former.

Interestingly, no company exists in the books of the Registrar General’s Department as Zein Security Services Limited.
The Registrar General in a response to a letter dated, March 20, 2018 stated that “search conducted did not show trace of Zein Security Services Systems Limited“, directing owners to submit a copy of any convincing evidence to the Registrar General’s Department for verification and the necessary action.”

Reacting to the news, a member of the Communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hopeson Adorye said there is no iota of truth in the claims.
He has, therefore, hoped that the government will in due course be exonerated.
