Ghanaian gospel artiste, Nana Osei, widely known as Nacee says Ghanaians failed to accept Kwabena Kwabena’s “Bue Kwan’ as a gospel song.
According to the vocalist and music producer, this is because of the perception Ghanaians hold that Kwabena Kwabena is a secular artiste.

Explaining the matter further, Nacee maintained that R Kelly whose gospel songs are sang in churches in Ghana has been caught in several scandals that makes it unhealthy to tag him as a gospel artiste.
He added on Daybreak Hit on Hitz FM Friday that, he couldn’t fathom why “the same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena’s gospel song accept R Kelly in our churches.”

“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes…”
Nacee further queried host Andy Dosty in a rhetorical manner, saying “is it because it’s coming from outside so we have to accept it?”
