Chief Executive Officer of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang has disclosed that his latest signee, Wendy Shay has won an endorsement deal out of critics claiming she has only one wig.

He made the revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Tuesday.

Some online portals circulated the rumour that the “Uber Driver” hitmaker, Wendy hasn’t changed her long-wavy-styled wig after she made her first public appearance at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

According to them, Wendy was spotted in the “Uber Driver” music video with the same hairdo and has maintained same, afterwards.

Bullet defended her, insisting that the hairstyle is one of her brand identification tactics. He further revealed that the “one wig” brouhaha has cooked an endorsement deal for the “Uber Driver” hitmaker.

Asked when she is outdooring the products, Bullet said: “at the appropriate time, the public would be made aware”.

“It’s her braid and not a wig. She loves curly hair. There is even an endorsement deal coming out. We will announce it soon. It’s coming out trust me. And now people are getting to meet her. You need to maintain a style and when people get to know you then you switch it up. In the beginning that’s how it goes…” he told Andy Dosty.

Bullet, however, noted that when Wendy Shay’s “Uber Driver” song hits a million views on YouTube, he would release her next song.

“When her songs hit 1M views we will drop another one. When we promise we deliver…” he maintained.
