A 40-year-old Rastafarian, Edren John Paku  has registered his displeasure at government for its inability to build drains as a check against the flood crisis affecting the nation.

According to him, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should reserve five per cent of the profit gained from the sale of Ghana’s natural resources for flood disasters.

“The government should help us. They should use just 5 per cent of the mineral resources to check floods. I am a painter and not living on the streets. I pay tax and not stupid. I had to carry my wife and children to the rooftop. Please they should help us…” he cried.
