A video has emerged online showing a crowd of protestors hooting and calling H.E President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo names.
The protestors who were expressing their displeasure about the Ghana-US Military deal were heard shouting “Ghana is not for sale!” and “Akufo-Addo is a traitor!” repeatedly, while the President and his entourage including the First Lady were standing at the entrance of the London School of Economics (LSE).

After what looked like a a little wait, the President, in true statesman fashion approached the direction of the protesting Ghanaians and waved at them before setting off in a Range Rover parked for him.
Earlier Alhassan Baba had told the media that “We’re going to send the signal to the international community that majority of Ghanaians are not in favour of that agreement. The US has to go back to the negotiation table, President Akufo Addo needs to put the interest of Ghana first because it’s necessary that in every foreign policy the vital national interest of every country needs to be taken into consideration.”

“So you shouldn’t abandon your national interest in the interest of another country and that’s exactly what Nana Akufo Addo is doing to Ghanaians. So we’re going to highlight some of the defects of the agreement, we’re not saying there shouldn’t be agreement, yes, there’s global insecurity and we need to work together but looking at the content of this particular agreement it’s not going to benefit our country.” He added.
Back in Ghana, another group is currently demonstrating in Tamale the Northern Regional capital over the Ghana-US Military deal.
These NDC guys are frustrated
We simply do not need american military stationed in Ghana. Cooperation on global security does not mean a sovereign nation can be occupied by any nation or a dangerous super power nation such as the US.

These are handful of noise making Hypocritical NDC supporters. They’re not crowd of well meaning Ghanaians . John Mahama and J.J. Rawlings have in the past signed similar Military cooperation agreement with US government without even informing parliament.
President Akuffo Addo should abrogate the US contract that’s all what ghanians are asking for.
Akuffo Addo and his cohorts are pushing Ghana into slavery and colonialism.
Oh, but let’s just wait till America chases “terrorists” via our beloved country one day during this period and see if our own Ghana will remain the same: The picture will then be clear for both the opponent and the proponent of the cooperation agreement, brethren!
The protesters are said to have received 5000 Pounds Sterling from the Mahama faction of the NDC in Ghana to organise the demonstration in London agaist President kufo Addo. Reports have it that only a few people shared the booty and left some UK NDC members in the dark. This is said to have created a big division in the NDC UK
