Newly elected National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye is appealing to his supporters to stop teasing candidates who lost the elections.

According to him, such conduct, if tolerated could derail their agenda of retaining the Akufo-Addo government in 2020.

“My supporters teasing my competitors should stop. Our focus should be on propagating the party’s agenda and not divide our ranks” he stated on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.

Nana Boakye won the National Youth Organizer position by 423 votes with Dominic Kwesi Eduah polling 243 votes.  Kamal Deen had 102 votes with Appiah Dansah polling a paltry one vote respectively.

After the Delegates Congress at Koforidua over the weekend, supporters of Nana Boakye have been trolling the losers, especially his closest contender, Dominic Eduah on social media.

But on Ekosii Sen, Nana Boakye called for a ceasefire to ensure a united youth front.

He indicated that he won the election by the Grace of God thus will not take credit for the victory in Koforidua.

Nana Boakye said his key focus will be to unite the youth front for victory in Election 2020 and beyond.

The NPP Youth Organizer hinted he could make one of his challenges his deputy to champion the cause of the youth.

Nana Boakye pledged to develop the capacity of the youth in the NPP to prepare them for the job market.
