Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin is doing well after his convoy was involved in a near-fatal accident at Osino in the Eastern Region.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the King, Dan Ofori Atta, revealed the Okyehene escaped unhurt and as at press time was at the Ofori Panin Fie in Kyebi.

“It’s just one of the cars in the convoy, it’s nothing serious and nobody is hurt. The Okyehene is safe in his palace right now,” Dan Ofori Atta revealed.

The convoy of Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin was returning from Kumasi when a vehicle from the opposite direction reportedly run into one of the cars in his convoy.

Okyehene was travelling back home following a meeting on Saturday, 16th June, with President Akufo Addo and Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace. The meeting was held ahead of the Head of State International Golf Invitational Tournament Awards Dinner in Kumasi.
