Public Relations Officer of the Greater Accra Circles of Asante Kotoko, Nii Darko has cautioned the team not to play match of convenience in its game between Liberty Professionals this weekend.
According to him, any attempt by Kotoko to save Liberty from relegation will be vehemently opposed.
Asante Kotoko this season has not had a good record against the Accra-based clubs and this Nii Darko wants to end on a better note.
“We have heard rumors Asante Kotoko will play it soft just to safe Liberty Professionals from relegation but we are warning our management not to condone”, Nii Darko explained.
“We will be at the stadium in our numbers to support the team and we must win to end our bad record in Accra this season”.
Liberty Professionals will host Asante Kotoko at the Karl Reindolf Park in Dansoman on Sunday to honor the final round of match of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier league season.
