Bechem United striker, Affix Wutah Konkoni, says he will score more goals this season to break the all-time goal scoring records that have ever been set in the Ghana Premier League.
According to the current leading goal scorer in the league, he has started that journey “by scoring five goals in six matches, even though he did not start the season with his current club”.
“Though playing in the GPL is difficult and combining teaching and field work is not easy, I will surely deliver without concentrating on my critics”, Konkoni said in an interview with Asempa Sports Night show.
The former Bolga All Stars and Wa Rocket attacker concluded by expressing his view on the need for Ghana to concentrate on producing more strikers”.
Bechem United are 8th on the league table with 12 points with 10 goals and will be playing Karela United on Saturday in the ongoing league.
