The Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, Prophet Kumchacha has described as ‘demonic’ the dressing of Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Ebony.
According to him, the dressing of the artiste does not only offend well-meaning Ghanaians but also God.
“Ebony should be careful with her dressing because she is causing havoc with her indecent dressing. I hate people who dress like that. How can a small girl like Ebony deceive Ghanaians with her choice of songs and killing our youth with her killer dressing?,” he asked.
The ‘Sponsor’ hit maker has been at the receiving end of public criticism for his public appearance, with some industry players condemning her dressing.
President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffuor is among those who took her to the cleaners for her ‘bizarre’ costume.
But despite the public outcry, the artiste seems not to be bothered.
Prophet Kumchacha is the latest to join the public condemnation.
“It’s mere foolishness. I see her as her witch and a demon who has been sent from the sea to lure men into total destruction,” he said.
He continued: “I will go and buy four of her hit songs and will buy olive oil and bury the songs like I did to Patapaa’s one corner. I will bury her songs and will not be played in this country again” he warned.
Born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, her song ‘Kupe’ enjoyed massive airplays and patronage.
She was nominated twice for Dancehall Artiste of the Year and Best Reggae/ Dancehall Song of the Year at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.
