Some forty three (43) students of the Fumbisi Senior High and Agricultural School are in the grips of the police for reportedly destroying school property, injuring their colleagues and school staff for delaying their dinner Tuesday night.
A teacher who spoke on condition of anonymity said section of the students were said to have gone riotous because some of their colleagues decided not to join a boycott over their delayed meal.
He said the angry students who could not wait started pelting stones at their colleagues, teachers, dining hall staff and other school workers all of whom run for cover.

The District Chief Executive for Volta South, Daniel Kwame Gariba said the management of the school were faced with some few challenges hence the delayed in getting the food ready for the students.
He believes that triggered the whole riots among the students.
He added that the Police, and Fire Service who visited the school to bring the situation under control were chased out by the students.
Meanwhile, Police Commander for the area, DSP Eric Agbenyegah who confirmed the incident to Adom News said so far about 43 students have been arrested.
The Police, he added have begun investigations into the unfortunate incident.
