Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mr. Henry Wellington says his side has seen a great improvement from the team that played the same opponent in the GHALCA G8 tournament earlier this year.
Dreams FC held Hearts of Oak at the Dawu Park to a one-all drawn game in a friendly on Sunday.
Midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim broke the deadlock for the Phobians before former Phobian, Eric Gawu equalised for the Premier League returnees.
This result, coach Wellington says it’s positive indication for the club if the league should commence any tine soon, insisting the team that lost to Dreams Fc in the final of the GHALCA G8 has evolved and much better now.
“This result is very good, given that the team that played the G8 is different and I can see a lot of improvement. We are still putting our team together be ready for the league season and we seem to be on the right path”. Wellington concluded.
Coach Wellington was mandated to take over as manager of Hearts of oak last month after the club parted ways with Scottish trainer, Frank Elliot Nuttall.
