Chef de Mission and President of Ghana Cycling Federation, Mohammed Sahnoon  has denied claims that Team Ghana is struggling in Australia ahead of the upcoming Common Wealth games.
He says the cyclists have good cycles to use.
Foreign media had reported that the Ghanaian Contingent had arrived in Australia without a coach and with very old cycles they cannot compete with.
The reports also added it took other nationals to help them acquire new ones.
Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show, Mr. Sahnoon explained that Team Ghana is preparing very well and have nothing to worry about contrary to reports.
He however admitted the team did not travel with new cycles.
“Let us ignore all the bad press about team Ghana. The cyclists travelled with their cycles from the last edition of the Olympic Games and they are not totally damaged as is being reported”, he explained.
The out spoken administrator however did not deny the fact that Team Ghana has received some donations in support of their campaign in Australia.
