The former National Organizer of the opposition NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan has advised the Leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International (GWPMI) Reverend Owusu Bempah to stay away from the politics.

According to the politician, he believes the work of a man of God is to shun partisan politics, and focus on propagating the word of God to win souls for Christ and not to dabble in partisan politics.

“With our pastors, I will plead with them to do the work of God and stop the politics. As a man of God you use the bible and the work of God to educate your people. I beg Owusu Bempah. He made us aware that John Mahama didn’t like him. He is a pastor. He saw how things were going. He knew security was better under NDC’s period. Today I am sure if he is preaching he will have macho men around him…” he said emphatically.

He continued that, “He [Owusu Bempah] wants to claim NDC did nothing but Akufo Addo will work. In the next four years, we will ask him what the NPP did for the country. If he is preaching he should be aware he doesn’t preach to NPP members only…”.

Yaw Boateng Gyan, noted that, if he were a church member he stop going for counseling due to Prophet Owusu Bempah’s partisan stance.

“If I were in his church I will not go for counseling because he can easily convince me to join NPP. He sounds too partisan. I will not let him change my ideology”  he said on Accra-based Okay FM.
