Public relations officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, says the Club Licensing Board will on Friday, February 23, inspect their proposed home grounds ahead of the 2017/2018 premier league season.
Speaking to Asempa FM, the football administer confirmed that the club has now settled on the Swedru Park as its new home grounds as the Accra Sports Stadium undergoes renovation works.
“We were thinking of adopting the Tema Sports Stadium after the Accra Sports Stadium was closed but we, last week, decided on Swedru Park.
The club now waits approval from the Club Licensing Board to inspect the facility tomorrow”, Opare explained.
According to Mr. Addo, they will immediately put finishing touches to uplift the edifice after the governing body gives them the green light so the park will be ready for the 2017/2018 league season.
