Founder and leader of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has once again stirred controversy after appearing to blaspheme against Jesus Christ.

The self-acclaimed “Angel” has lashed out at those saying he is a fake pastor, insisting God and Jesus must be “fools” if that is indeed the case.

Speaking to his congregation in one of his recorded sermons, Obinim boasted of his huge following in the country, adding that no pastor in the country commands the kind of large crowd he has.

He further touted his achievements as a pastor, saying it is wrong for people to regard him as a fake due to his actions.

According to him, most of the things he does are directed by the Holy Spirit and not of his own free will or say.

“I always say that if I’m a fake pastor or I use juju to operate, then Jesus is a fool. Then that would mean Jesus is even more foolish than human beings. Because the number of people that come to me here in Ghana – look no prophet has more following than me!” Obinin boldly asserted.

The self-acclaimed man of God has often been in the news for various reasons and his latest proclaim is bound to stir further controversy.

Earlier this year, Obinim came top of the social media trends due to his alleged magical stickers which he claimed have the powers to solve any problem.

The ‘Obinim Sticker Challenge’ was thus kikstarted on Twitter, with many Ghanaians making mockery of the whole issue.

Last week, the pastor was once again in the news after he claimed that he visited heaven to berate Angel Gabriel for offending him.

  1. Very pathetic, then ask yourself why God has not destroy or kill the devil. This is very senseless and just look at what you are saying. May God forgive you Obinim to speak that against God

    • May God forgive you rather. you just open your filthy and stinking mouth to talk, mind your words on this site especially about men of God. And know that the devil u claim had been chained and kept in prison for a very long time just that his agents are working here on earth for him. He is under punishment, fool.

    The truth is, the Ghanaian populace is clothed in poverty, and drives everyone into desperation.
    Jimmy cliff, the renowned music artist, once said that, a drowning person, seeing a straw might even think or believe it to being a log and try to hold on to it.
    Therefore, it is my humble submission that, this Obinim, might have not been what he is but he is more smart and he has so many fools to cotend with.
